Admin panel for the whole university
What we built
Not a website with a CMS bolted on — a platform modelled on how the university is actually organised.
University website
About, the president's message, how to apply, the academic calendar, decisions and instructions, programs, postgraduate programs, and MoUs — every page managed from the admin panel.
College & institute sites
One codebase serves each college and institute on its own subdomain — departments, academic staff, labs, college council, centers, news, and events.
Academic staff profiles
Every teacher has a profile — qualifications, research papers, books, theses, conferences, seminars, trainings, grants, and committees — which teachers can maintain themselves.
Admin panel
A React admin panel for the whole university, with a draft → pending → approved workflow so content is reviewed before it goes live, plus global search.
Roles & permissions
Admins scoped to the university, a college, a department, a center, or a directorate — each sees and edits only their part — with an activity log of changes.
Trilingual (EN / KU / AR)
English, Kurdish, and Arabic fields on every record, with right-to-left layouts — plus an AI-assisted news translation pipeline with a terminology glossary and human-edit locks.
Four apps, one source of truth
Everything the public sees on the university and college sites is read from one API — and everything in that API is edited through one admin panel. Containerised with Docker behind nginx, with automated backups including off-site copies.
